Running Technique Workshop - Dave Coombs
Have you ever wanted to run further, faster and with fewer injuries? Would you like to learn to run, but have always found it difficult? Would you like to knock seconds, even minutes off your 5k time this year?
 
Improving your running technique is the best way to achieve all of this and to set you on the path of a lifetime of enjoyable running.

Join a friendly small group workshop either on your own or with a friend.  All ages** and experience levels welcome.

You will learn:
  • Correct running posture
  • Breathing techniques for running
  • How to keep on running for longer
  • Correct running footstrike
  • How to adjust your stride to overcome common running pains such as knee pain and shin pain
  • What shoes should you be wearing
  • Strength and mobility exercises to help your running technique

Next workshop dates:

- Saturday 22nd March 2025

Duration:  7am-9am (2 hours)
Location:  Swanton Drive Athletics Track, Swanton Drive, Mudgeeraba.

Cost:  $50 per person - pay on the day.
What to bring:  Running shoes and clothes, hat, sunscreen, drink and food.
How fit do I need to be?   Total running distance will be about 3km including a voluntary warm up.  The workshop is aimed at all levels and ages of runners and you will only need a basic level of fitness to get the full running technique experience.

**suggested minimum age is 10 years old but please contact me if you have a child younger than this who would like to join.
